Spring Break Camp

SPRING INTO A NEW SEASON OF FUN AND EDUCATION!

April 10-13, 9am-3pm

Jump right in to hands on springtime gardening and farming! Abma’s Farm Spring Break Camp covers a wide variety of topics from preparing to plant to the process of hatching baby chicks. We have fun games, crafts, and activities to help your child enjoy the energy that surrounds our farm during the change of seasons!

Single day, multiple day, and full week enrollment available.
$280 for Full Week Enrollment, Monday – Thursday.

(Please note, due to our famous Chicks & Bunnies event, we will not hold Spring Break Camp on Friday, April 14)

Ages 5-10.

Children should wear clothes appropriate to play inside and outside. A snack is included in the cost, but each child needs to bring a lunch and a water bottle.

New this year: a lunch option (sandwich, apple, cookie, and juice). Please indicate on our registration form if you would like to include a lunch option for your child. Sandwich options are ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, and cheese.

Junior Master Gardener

Summer Camp

Down on the farm, we believe in learning hands-on, while having tons of fun! This year, enroll your child in a summer camp program they can truly benefit from.

Abma’s Farm Summer Camp utilizes our own greenhouses and vegetable fields to provide an exciting and educational experience for kids. Camp goals include: gardening, farming, learning about nature’s creatues, and learning how our environment works. We put a fun spin on education, making sure all children enjoy their summer, while gaining valuable knowledge about the outdoors.

greenhouse Workshops & Seminars

Workshops and seminars run throughout spring, early summer, fall, and the Christmas season. They run weekly (some week exclusions apply) on Tuesdays at 10:00am and Saturday at 9:00am.

Our weekly workshops and seminars are designed to educate our customers on how to be successful gardeners, designers, and teachers. The workshops include ‘make and take home’ projects, requiring pre-registration to ensure adequate supplies. Subjects covered include flower & vegetable gardening, perennials, designing centerpieces, wreath decorating, and our customer favorite- Fairy/Gnome miniature gardening. New subjects include: hummingbird container garden, bonsai, and succulent gardens.

Borgreenhouse Private Workshops

Are you a group of 10 or more, and are interested in a private workshop or seminar?

We offer the curriculum of our public workshops set to your convenience.

Perfect for girl scout and boy scout troops!

Also great for after school groups, Mom’s groups and friends groups.

Including, but not limited to: vegetable container garden, fairy & gnome miniature garden, herb container garden, perennial gardening, hummingbird and butterfly container garden, & vertical gardening.

Winter Break Camp

All week long we’ll learn about farm life! Activities include cooking with fresh farm ingredients, making creative crafts, playing fun games, planting, and visiting our petting zoo friends. There’s so much to do, so find out how busy a farm can be- even in the winter!
