Greenhouse Workshops are new for 2012

Our retail greenhouses are open from mid March- December 24th

Did you know that the annuals offered for sale in our greenhouses are grown here on the farm? From the spring blooming Dutch bulbs to our Christmas poinsettias we have 4 seasons of flowers to offer. Come wander through the greenhouses to see our spring pansies, vegetables, herbs, summer annuals, perennials, & hearty Chrysanthemums. If you have any questions please ask our knowledgeable staff for assistance.

SPRING

After a brief winter break the greenhouses re-open each spring in mid-March. Our potted Dutch bulbs will be budded and ready to bloom. Spring bulbs can be enjoyed inside and later planted outside to return the following spring.
Pansies bring color to your garden until the danger of frost has past, (frost free date May 15). By mid April we will have an array of early season perennials and cool season vegetables ready to be planted.

SUMMER

We grow a wide assortment of annuals for both sun & shade. They are available in several sizes as well as hanging baskets. Our container gardens are ready to be placed on your patio or dropped into an urn.
To complement our annual flowers we have a large selection of perennials, vegetables and herbs.
Our greenhouse staff will be glad to answer any questions or help you make the right selection for your site.

FALL

With the cool nights and crisp days of autumn come our field grown hearty chrysanthemums, kale and cabbage. The color combinations are gorgeous as are our container gardens.
Fall is a good time for planting, whether it is a garden make over or just a little sprucing up check out our late season perennials. Montauk Daises, asters and ornamental grass make a great addition to the fall garden.

CHRISTMAS

As long as you have lights we have everything else you need to decorate for the holidays; trees, wreaths, grave blankets, kissing balls and more. Poinsettias are no longer just red come see all the colors we have to choose from along with cyclamen and Christmas cactus.
