Current Barnyard Update

Our Barnyard is open to the public!
As of July 1st, General Admission tickets are available in 3 different ways!
1) Online, via our website. General admission tickets (no time slots) are available same day: every morning at 7am for that day. Once you purchase tickets online, you will receive an email with ticket codes; please print or bring up on your phone for scanning when you check in at the Barnyard Booth.
2) In person, cash only at the Barnyard Booth.
3) In person, credit card at the Farm Market. Please bring your receipt to check in at the Barnyard Booth.

Animal crackers are available to purchase, cash only at the booth. Pellet machines will not be in operation. Do not bring outside food to feed our animals.
We are increasing capacity in the Barnyard while continuing to maintain a safe outdoor environment for you and your family.
All individuals must please continue to wear face coverings for mouth and nose at all times where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain, in accordance with NJ state guidelines and CDC recommendations, except where doing so would inhibit the individual’s health or where the individual is under two years of age. Abma's Farm is a private business and reserves the right to protect our employee's and customer's safety and to provide a safe environment. Guests who are unable to wear masks, or who have a medical condition are asked only to produce a medical note advising that these requirements are to be waived. The individual’s health condition does not have to be stated in the doctor’s note.
Section 36.2018 of ADA Title III does not require a public accommodation to permit an individual to participate in or benefit from the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages and accommodations of that public accommodation when that individual poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Feeding Our Animals:

If you would like to feed the animals, you may purchase animal crackers and carrot tops (must purchase whole carrots) from our market.
Our goats, sheep, cows, and alpaca love snacking on animal crackers. Our bunnies love snacking on carrot tops. Please only feed them the tops; carrots themselves contain too much sugar for bunnies.
Please do not feed our animals outside food – they will get very sick.

Pony Rides

TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO COVID-19.

From May through October, we host pony rides on Saturdays (weather permitting) from 11am-4pm.

Tickets are $5 per child and include two laps in our large pony ride area. All ages are welcome, up to 75 lbs please.

In Case of Inclement Weather:

On rainy days, you may still visit our Barnyard. If there is no staff present in the Barnyard, please visit our Market for admission tickets.

On snowy and icy days, the Barnyard may temporarily close for the safety of our patrons.
