WYCKOFF MARKET FRONT END REGISTER MANAGER

- We are seeking a dedicated Front-End Register Manager to oversee daily operations at our market's checkout and deli areas. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has experience in retail management, staff supervision, and a passion for providing an outstanding farm market experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Customer Service & Sales: Provide exceptional customer service, assist with inquiries, and foster a welcoming environment.
- Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and manage front-end and deli staff, ensuring efficiency, motivation, and conflict resolution registers, and ensure POS system accuracy.
- Cash Handling & Front-End Operations: Oversee cash transactions, balance.
- POS System Management: Communicate with office staff to maintain a smooth and efficient POS system.
- Deli Counter Oversight: Supervise deli staff when Deli Manager is not available to uphold quality, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues professionally and efficiently.

WYCKOFF GARDEN CENTER/RETAIL SALES MANAGER

- We are seeking a full time, seasonal candidate to join our Garden Center team. Our diverse and unique Garden Center specializes in retail annual plants, perennials, tropicals, and more. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing team members to ensure efficient workflow, maintaining plant health, and leading a high-performing team.
- The ideal candidate has experience in horticulture, retail management, staff supervision, and a passion for providing an outstanding garden center experience.
- This is a physically active position that requires standing, lifting, and moving in various weather conditions (rain or shine, hot or cold). Candidate must be physically fit to handle daily outdoor activities, detail-oriented, mature, responsible, and able to follow instruction.
- A degree in horticulture with experience, knowledge, or interest in plants and gardening is a plus.
