SUPPORT A FAMILY IN NEED THROUGH ABMA'S FARM *giving tree*
We've teamed up with Oasis - A Haven For Women & Children and Jericho Road to help families in need this season! Donate in $1, $5, or $10 increments, or *Ornaments* at our market. All proceeds - and a 100% match by Abma's Farm!! - will be given to Oasis and Jericho Road (split "50/50") in the form of a gift certificate toward fresh food for their soup kitchens.
Founded in 1997, Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children is a non-profit organization serving women, teens, and children living in need in the Greater Paterson area. Oasis works to break the cycle of poverty through programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower. Oasis serves over 600 women and children daily in adult education classes, workforce readiness training, youth development programs, and basic social services. Oasis provides the tools necessary for women and children to successfully move from poverty to self-sufficiency. For more information, visit www.oasisnj.org.
Since 2003, Jericho Road has been a bridge for many people - providing food, support, and guidance. Offering a 3 phase opportunity, men are given the tools to work their way back into society. Phase 1 and 2 help men find work, a sense of personal value, and find freedom from addiction. Men in Phase 3 rent their own rooms using their earned money, never to be homeless again.
HELP US PAY IT FORWARD TO OUR COMMUNITY! SPREAD THE WORD AND SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS DURING THE SEASON OF GRATITUDE!
early registration for the 2017 csa season going on now!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a cooperative relationship between the farmer and their customers. Paying in advance before the season begins means you are committing to a “share” of our crop production. For the 20-week season, you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as experience the diverse picking seasons on the farm. You will see first hand the bounty, success, and uncontrollable work of Mother Nature! All of our homegrown produce is hand picked at the peak of each item’s individual season to ensure the quality and flavor. Receiving a box weekly offers you the experience and variety of living on a farm without the hard work! By growing all of our produce from seed, we ensure our produce is GMO free and all natural.
