SUPPORT A FAMILY IN NEED THROUGH ABMA'S FARM *TURKEY BUCKS*
We've teamed up with Oasis - A Haven For Women & Children to help families in need this season! Donate in $1, $5, or $10 increments called "Turkey Bucks" at our market. All proceeds and a 100% match by Abma's Farm will be given to Oasis in the form of a gift certificate toward fresh food for their soup kitchen.
Founded in 1997, Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children is a non-profit organization serving women, teens, and children living in need in the Greater Paterson area. Oasis works to break the cycle of poverty through programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower. Oasis serves over 600 women and children daily in adult education classes, workforce readiness training, youth development programs, and basic social services. Oasis provides the tools necessary for women and children to successfully move from poverty to self-sufficiency. For more information, visit www.oasisnj.org.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a cooperative relationship between the farmer and their customers. Paying in advance before the season begins means you are committing to a “share” of our crop production. For the 20-week season, you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as experience the diverse picking seasons on the farm. You will see first hand the bounty, success, and uncontrollable work of Mother Nature! All of our homegrown produce is hand picked at the peak of each item’s individual season to ensure the quality and flavor. Receiving a box weekly offers you the experience and variety of living on a farm without the hard work! By growing all of our produce from seed, we ensure our produce is GMO free and all natural.
