Meet the Abmas: We’ve been part of the Wyckoff landscape for over 85 years!
Nine decades and four generations later, we are still Bergen County’s only produce and poultry farm. We pride ourselves on our family’s tradition of hard work, honest values, and selfless service. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we provide the community with the highest-quality fresh produce, poultry and eggs from our own chickens, daily baked goods from our “scratch” bakery, homemade specialties from our kitchen, and artfully grown plants from our greenhouses. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a cooperative relationship between the farmer and their customers. Paying in advance before the season begins means you are committing to a “share” of our crop production. For the 20-week season, you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as experience the diverse picking seasons on the farm. You will see first hand the bounty, success, and uncontrollable work of Mother Nature! All of our homegrown produce is hand picked at the peak of each item’s individual season to ensure the quality and flavor. Receiving a box weekly offers you the experience and variety of living on a farm without the hard work! By growing all of our produce from seed, we ensure our produce is GMO free and all natural.

Dr. Seuss's Birthday Event

March 2 at 10am and 4pm

In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, we are celebrating at the farm! Kids can join us at either 10am or 4pm on March 2 for a book reading and food tasting session. We will read the famous "Green Eggs and Ham" and see what the hype is all about by tasting green eggs and ham!

This is a free event, approximately 30 minutes long. It is a great social opportunity for children where they can interact and connect reading to real life activities. This is also a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc. to do some shopping without the kids!

Drop off is from 10am-10:30am (Our 4pm class is SOLD OUT!)

Recommended for ages 3 and up.

Again, this is a free event - but we would still like to know in advance if you will be joining us! Registration is required.

Chicks & Bunnies

Join us in the greenhouses for our famous Chicks & Bunnies Event!

Visit with the Easter Bunny, take pictures, and pet our farm raised chicks and bunnies!

Date: Saturday, April 8th; Friday, April 14th; Saturday, April 15th.
Time: Ticket times are every half hour starting at 9:30am, until the last time slot at 3:30pm - excludes 12pm time slot so that the animals may rest.
Cost: $5 per person.

This is a ticket entry only greenhouse event - tickets will be sold in the market only starting March 1. We cannot hold tickets, nor take payment over the phone.Tickets will not be available on the day of the event. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. No exceptions, thank you for understanding. We do our best to create a joyous and organized event for our community!

Calling All Blood Donors!

aRE YOU INTERESTED IN DONATING BLOOD? WE ARE TOO!

To give back to our community, Abma's Farm is seeking to reserve a *Central Jersey Blood Center* Bus for our farm on or around Wednesday, June 14, 2017 (National Blood Donor Day). In order to secure a date for the bus, we are required to show proof of interest of at least 30 participants. If you are interested in donating blood, please fill out our form below and register with us!

Once we secure the Blood Center Bus, we will reach out with further information.

Abma's Farm chose the Central Jersey Blood Center for this donation to ensure that all blood donated will stay within the state of New Jersey to help those in need on a local level. This potentially helps family members, friends, and neighbors.

Spring Break Camp

spring into a new season of fun and education!

April 10-13, 9am-3pm

Jump right in to hands on springtime gardening and farming! Abma's Farm Spring Break Camp covers a wide variety of topics from preparing to plant to the process of hatching baby chicks. We have fun games, crafts, and activities to help your child enjoy the energy that surrounds our farm during the change of seasons!

Single day, multiple day, and full week enrollment available.
$280 for Full Week Enrollment, Monday - Thursday.

(Please note, due to our famous Chicks & Bunnies event, we will not hold Spring Break Camp on Friday, April 14)

Ages 5-10.

Children should wear clothes appropriate to play inside and outside. A snack is included in the cost, but each child needs to bring a lunch and a water bottle.

New this year: a lunch option (sandwich, apple, cookie, and juice). Please indicate on our registration form if you would like to include a lunch option for your child. Sandwich options are ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, and cheese.

A $100 deposit per child is due at booking if enrolled for entire week.
A $50 deposit per child is due at booking if enrolled for single or multiple days.

Children should wear clothes appropriate to play inside and outside. A snack is included in the cost, but each child needs to bring a lunch and a water bottle.

In this book club, we dive into a book series perfect for ages 2-4 called "If you give..." by Lauren Numeroff. We'll read our book, have a snack, and participate in a fun craft/activity. This is a drop off and pick up program- perfect for moms, dads, and caregivers to get a little break in the day for errands, coffee, etc. This book club is a fun, educational, social, and sweet touch of the farm for all children participating.
