Egg incubators, turners, and fertilized eggs are now available for rent. This is a wonderful learning experience, whether it's in the classroom or at home.
The egg hatching process takes 21 days, so reserve your incubator as soon as possible.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a cooperative relationship between the farmer and their customers. Paying in advance before the season begins means you are committing to a “share” of our crop production. For the 20-week season, you will receive a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as experience the diverse picking seasons on the farm. You will see first hand the bounty, success, and uncontrollable work of Mother Nature! All of our homegrown produce is hand picked at the peak of each item’s individual season to ensure the quality and flavor. Receiving a box weekly offers you the experience and variety of living on a farm without the hard work! By growing all of our produce from seed, we ensure our produce is GMO free and all natural.

Abma’s Greenhouses proudly announces our 1st annual Family Edible Gardening Day! Visit our greenhouses for hands-on workshops, seminars, and demonstrations for all ages. Starting at 11am, participate in hourly Make & Take Home Themed Herb Garden Workshops using Abma’s own homegrown herbs! Themes include Cooking Herb Gardens, Tea Herb Gardens, and Bartender’s Herb Gardens.
Free seminars include local author Greg Carbone as he discusses “Back Yard Family Edible Gardening’’. After Greg’s inspiring talk you can create a Make & Take Home a Vegetable Container Garden for your family! Check out the latest edition of his book DIY Backyard Farm Edible Gardening Planning Guide 2nd Ed for sale in our Greenhouse.
Interested in the importance of bees on our farm and in your garden? Come see our local Beekeeper Andy Kurosz discuss how crucial pollinators are for farming and flower gardens. Sweet Things & Wild Thyme Honey bee products will be available for purchase.
Do you have very limited room for gardening, or a very shady yard? Come to the Vertical Gardening Demonstration to learn how to utilize a small space for gardening! Deerford Woods Carpentry, our planter expert, will have samples available to view and order for your specific planting needs.
Last but not least, a local dietitian will discuss the dietary value of eating fresh and local grown vegetables. Get inspired to cook and eat the healthy way! Learn about Abma's CSA program and sign up for a weekly share of homegrown vegetables.
